Let us try and understand the thought process behind introducing smart bots to Grow Your Startup. Narayan and his partners were finding it really cumbersome to talk to each and every customer and constantly record their queries and qualms. They had to find a better way to stay in touch with their clients while keeping the momentum going steadily. Some of the questions that haunted them were -
- “How do our customers talk to us whenever they need to?’
- “How well are our customers using our services and what are they liking or disliking about each of our offerings?”
- “What better could we do to improve the quality of our service?”
- “How to introduce customisation for a great user experience?”
While these questions were quite daunting, Ryan decided to do something about this rather than simply ponder over this. Chatbots were an interesting option to explore and here’s what Grow Your Startup discovered about employing these bots to meet their expectations.

What are chatbots?
How can chatbots improve customer service?
1. HomePage
This is one of the most common places to introduce smartness through bots. GYS has deviced bots to automatically chat with users who land on the HomePage and guide them through the site with utmost ease. This not only provides a direction for visitors to traverse through the site but also records data as to what are visitors looking for and how can GYS leverage this experience.
2. Payment services
The moment a lead has made a purchase on the site, a feedback window would pop up asking for simple and relevant information from the customers. This will give deeper insights into behaviour and preferences of customers along with their experience of shopping with the brand.
3. Help facility
Visitors are generally lost as to where to look for what on a website. If they have queries about anything pertaining to the services offered by the company, then they can simply be made to chat with smart bots that have been programmed to assist users with their issues and resolve them quickly and correctly.
4. Targeted CTAs
Downloading Ebooks, whitepapers or simply signing up for trial version could be used as potential leads for a bigger purchase on the site. Using chatbots to converse with leads that have clicked on targeted CTAs could provide a great deal of information to the owner in understanding the expectations of potential customers.
